The first Chapel that I visited after my return from Qatar was Marham. I had been there for the May Prayer Fellowship Breakfast and had seen the Christmas card on display in the meeting room.
The Rev Chris Bishop lead the service and I had chosen this chapel because Holy Communion was included in the service and because I needed to thank Chris for helping out since Douglas had had his stroke.
It was here that I saw the Christmas card had been framed and was on the Pulpit as was the "Thank You" card that I had sent them. There and then I decided to go home and print some photos of Douglas so that they had a memento of his ministry here.
Everyone loved Douglas and his ministry would no doubt be remembered for years to come but they needed a picture so that was what I would give them. It was the least that I could do for these special people.
